About Kodai-Haku

Kodai-haku is Hakuichi’s original Kanazawa gold leaf series, inherited since the company’s founding. It features a distinctive beautiful gradation, and because the leaf itself contains many colors, it creates a modern table setting with a simple yet striking shine.

The series began when new value was found in leaf that would otherwise have been discarded, and it is described as one of the origins of Kanazawa gold leaf craft products.
Its colors, including blue, green, purple, and red tones, are not created by coloring but by using natural forces to change the color of the metal itself, making every piece unique.
