Seiko 145th Anniversary Story
In 2026, Seiko celebrates its 145th anniversary. Since its founding in 1881, Seiko has continued to innovate while following founder Kintaro Hattori’s belief of staying “one step ahead of the rest.” SBEC031 celebrates this long history in a special limited-edition chronograph.
White Patterned Dial
The dial pattern is inspired by the beautiful engravings applied to imported pocket watches based on Kintaro Hattori’s ideas. The quiet white dial allows the precise stamped pattern and gold accents to stand out with elegance.
Gold Accents
Warm gold is used as an accent color to symbolize success and prosperity. Combined with the white dial, it gives the watch a refined and celebratory look suitable for an anniversary model.
Speedtimer-Inspired Design
The flowing design and elegant bracelet take inspiration from Speedtimer designs of the 1960s and 1970s. This gives the watch a vintage-inspired character while keeping the sporty practicality of a modern Prospex chronograph.
Recommended For
This model is easy to recommend for Seiko collectors, Prospex fans, mechanical chronograph lovers, customers looking for a world-limited Japanese watch, and international customers who appreciate anniversary models with strong brand history.
