This is a temperature-changing flat sake cup from the cold-reactive series. When a cold drink is poured into the white cup, cherry blossoms appear inside the cup. When the surface temperature reaches 17°C or lower, the design changes color and creates the look of fully blooming Sakura.

The cold-reactive sake cup series is introduced as a popular series that won the OMOTENASHI Selection Gold Award for combining Japanese traditional techniques with innovative design. It has also received recognition in a national tourism souvenir competition and is noted as a “Cool Japan” item.

The material is porcelain / Mino ware. The size is approximately 90mm in diameter × 34mm in height, and the capacity is approximately 70cc. It is made in Japan, in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture.
